A Belly Full
58I need to get something off my chest and those of you that know me, know that, well, I'm very outspoken. So before I begin, let me just say, that if I hurt your feelings by what I'm fixing to write here. Tough! Give me a thumbs down and move along.

Walter Agrees
Sick and Tired
Let me start by saying that I am a christian and proud to know my Lord and Saviour. I'm far from being religious but none the less I believe in God and I try my best to live by his laws. I try to treat people with the respect that I want in return, but turning the other cheek is sometimes not an option and this is one of those times. America has become soft. This great country was at one time a powerhouse. All because we didn't take crap from anybody. We had our own beliefs and we stood strong because the foundation in place was of God. This country was founded in God's name. Just for instance, the ten commandments from the bible. Our laws go hand in hand with those commandments. Yet we are not allowed to place the ten commandments in the courthouse. Why? We hurt someones feelings, that's why. Those that don't believe in God. Those that believe in another God. You know what? I'm all for people believing in what they choose to believe in. It's their prerogative to do so, but don't take away my rights to believe what I want to believe either.
With that said I want to talk about what I started this article for. Christmas. You want to take away my right to say Merry Christmas and replace it with Happy Holidays? For what? To make 17% of the American population happy. What about the 83% of Americans that consider themselves Christians. They along with myself have every right in the world to celebrate Christmas as they see fit. They have the right to say "Merry Christmas" if that's what they choose to do. Not Happy Holidays. The ladies at my job have been told they could be fired from their job for answering the phone with Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. That's plain bull if you ask me. Leave us to celebrate in the fashion we see fit. Including those 17% that are not Christians. I have no problem with them celebrating the Christmas holiday any way they choose but don't take my choice away either. I've just about had a belly full of watching the people that we elect into office take away our rights. They tell you what they want you to hear and after being elected work on their own agenda. Not all of them mind you but the vast majority could care less what you think until it comes back around to election time. They don't represent me, and I've told them so too. They've taken God and prayers out of our schools. They've talked of taking "In God We Trust" off of our money. You need to leave God in the equation. This country is in bad shape and it won't be getting any better if you boot God out of the country. You're willing to do that for the satisfaction of the 17% of the Americans that don't believe in him. The way I see it, those of you that don't want to live in a country that stands as one nation under God, then leave. You are a citizen of the greatest country in the world. Embrace that privilege. You are able to worship your God in any manner you see fit. Without persecution. Do so. Leave the rest of America to do the same. You are not required to celebrate Christmas. So if that is something you don't want to do then don't, but don't try and make me celebrate it in a manner in which I chose not to. To face punishment if I chose to say Merry Christmas? Punish me! I say leave Christ in Christmas, don't X him out. I leave you with this. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas and may you be blessed during the Christmas Season and throughout the coming year.
The above text is purely my opinion and the only thing factual is the percentage of Christian Americans taken by an ABC Poll.
